From time to time some things can go wrong
underwater, for this reason this course is specially designed to
anticipate with those unpredictable scenarios. Divers are trained so
that skills and knowledge are gained to manage these risks and
effectively handle under-water problems and diving emergencies. Included
to these skills are: assists, transports, surface rescues and rescues
from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.
This course is prerequisite for Skin Diving Instructor, NAUI Assistant
Instructor, Divemaster, and Instructor certifications.
In addition for this course completeness, the CPR
training needs to be undertaken as well (approximately four hours). CPR
training includes two people CPR and the use of rescue breathing
devices, e.g. use of oxygen, face masks and others. CPR does not only
acquire you knowledge for diving emergencies but also for every-day life
situations.
